Model Build: T-37 "Tweet"

The T-37 "Tweet" my father flew in USAF pilot school

The T-37 "Tweet" is one of the planes that my father flew in pilot training and is on my "Principal Projects" list.  As fate would have it however, there is currently no such thing as a T-37 "Tweet" model kit. Instead you'll have to convert an A-37 Dragonfly attack plane, a derivative of the T-37, used frequently in Vietnam. The conversion isn't extensive but depending on how accurate you want to get there are a number of modifications that need to be made.

Apparently the trainer version of this plane is not particularly popular as a subject. I did manage to find, however a project documented on YouTube. The natural metal finish on the air frame that I am looking to duplicate on my project seems to be more elusive.

Model Build: MiG-29 Fulcrum

German MiG-29 - GADF assumed possession of 24 East German MiG-29's upon reunification in 1990

Satiating my desire to build some MiG and Sukhoi fighters I purchased an Airfix 1:72 scale MiG- 29 Fulcrum. In addition to the video reference videos I collected, I found as many videos as I could of other MiG-29 model builds. The many builds collected together here span a variety of scales and manufacturers but are inspirational regardless of whose kit you at building or at what scale.
